They only come flying now...

I just can't stop. This hobby really consuming my resources. AArrrgghhhh
Since now I am working at my hometown, basically almost all watches I bought from online.
Less thrill and also risky. I dont have much choice here.
I miss Bangkok/Pattaya where I can discover, investigate a watch before I decide to buy.

Vintage Certina Datepointer Big Size Manual Wind

Besides its real classic look (I dont care what you might think), 2 main reasons why I like about this old watch, circa 1950's, its datepointer features and the other 1 is its big in size, measures about 38.5mm in diameter NOT including crown.
Not many you can find a watch from its era have this kind of size for a dresswatch. Mostly divers & pilot watches but not from dresswatch.

Notice the microscopic engraving on the body, it says "PLAQUE G20"

Vintage King Seiko Hi-Beat 5626-7000 Automatic -SOLD

Another King Seiko that I acquired, coming all the way from Japan.
This is Japan Domestic model. What is a better Seiko than 100% Japanese?
Circa 1970's, running great & acceptably accurate.

This is an open thru glass casing for better water resistance. Notice the small screw at the bottom lug. I dont know exactly what is it for, later I'll find out.

All parts are still original, so it's a good example of  KS of the 70s. The gold emblem which is 1 of the most acquired features & collectible values is still in good condition. In fact, this is the main reason why I acquired this watch.
Enjoy the rest of the pics.

2 brothers side by side. Look so handsome ;)

Vintage King Seiko Hi-Beat 45-7001 Manual wind

To Seiko fans, this watch is one of most acquired models of Seiko.
Features hi-beat at 36,000 bph, 25 Jewels, manual winding movement 4500A, not many watch producers had a success producing hi-beat movements like this including Swiss brands.

Another feature that was sort of a trend for higher grade watches in the 60s, is the gold emblem at the backcase. These are collectors item.

Rare Very Old Longines Military Porcellain dial

Sought after, scarce and very hard to find nowadays, authentic and all original Longines military porcellain dial, manual wind. Forget about the leather band, look pretty awkward isn't it? I am still looking the right military band to fit to this watch with lug size 13mm.
This particular dude is from Egypt, issued to their military probably in 1930's.
Still working fine although might need some adjustment on timing.

A high grade Longines gold plated movement no 13.34, 17 jewels.
The porcellain dial have very minor cracks.
The hands are all original.
